About ICSSC
The International Clinical Sciences Support Center (ICSSC) at Family Health International (FHI) provides support to clinical investigators who are funded by the Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (DMID), National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and whose work focuses on treatment, prevention, and control of infectious diseases in developing countries.
The ICSSC works with the NIAID/DMID to:
- assist with various aspects of research planning, protocol development, and study implementation;
- provide ongoing training in clinical research for investigators;
serve as an information resource; - facilitate communication with a diverse and widespread community of investigators.
